5 Reasons Why Eating Pepper Helps To Develop Powerful Higher Faculties Of The Mind

In the last two blog I have written on the benefits of onions and garlic, today I will discuss pepper. This trio has significant benefits to our health.
 
Peppers contain “capsaicin” which helps the lungs function more effectively.A daily intake of peppers has well established health benefits. The following are five of them:

1. check respiratory illnesses

2. improve breathing in asthmatics 

3. relives and in most  cases cure sinus and nasal passage problems

4. Reduce headaches

5. it is a major source of vitamin C

In conclusion,
  • There is enough evidence to that you can boost your health by eating garlic, onions and peppers,  regularly.
  • Include the trio into your daily diet by eating them raw (best) or cooked.
  • Include them as flavorings, crushed, minced or chopped in as many ordinary, recipes as you can.
  • Use them as daily rather than occasional food items.
  • You can add the trio to meat balls, burgers, and salads etc.
  • Use your imagination come up with new ways of adding them into your daily diet.

    Hi,
    While what you say is true about pepper, onion and garlic, Ayurveda and Unani systems point out that one can eat as per the humour of one’s constiitution. A person with a high ‘fire’ component (say, suffering from hyperacidity) would aggravate dis-ease in her or his body by eating too much of these three. That’s a rider that should accompany the values ascribed to each herb and spice. How much pepper/onion/garlic/anything else each one should eat, then is dictated by the individual constitution, and state of body and even climate.
