In the last two blog I have written on the benefits of onions and garlic, today I will discuss pepper. This trio has significant benefits to our health.
 
Peppers contain “capsaicin” which helps the lungs function more effectively.A daily intake of peppers has well established health benefits. The following are five of them:

1. check respiratory illnesses

2. improve breathing in asthmatics 

3. relives and in most  cases cure sinus and nasal passage problems

4. Reduce headaches

5. it is a major source of vitamin C

In conclusion,
  • There is enough evidence to that you can boost your health by eating garlic, onions and peppers,  regularly.
  • Include the trio into your daily diet by eating them raw (best) or cooked.
  • Include them as flavorings, crushed, minced or chopped in as many ordinary, recipes as you can.
  • Use them as daily rather than occasional food items.
  • You can add the trio to meat balls, burgers, and salads etc.
  • Use your imagination come up with new ways of adding them into your daily diet.

6 Reasons Why Eating Onions Helps To Develop a Powerful Mind

In my last blog, I wrote about garlic and it numerous benefits. Today I will write about onions which contain natural chemicals that can have powerful health boosting effects on your body. It is an antiseptic for many of infections

Onions:

Like garlic, onions too, have many health benefits. They include:

1.    Attack bacteria that cause infection

2.    Reduce total cholesterol levels

3.    Boost good-type HDL cholesterol (particularly when consumed raw) pay attention to this one

4.    Increase blood-clot dissolving activity

5.    Reduce the risks of diabetes

6.    Reduce the risk of certain cancers

So as you can see this is another food that we consume daily that helps reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases. Science has identified a compound in onions called “quercetin” which is a powerful antioxidant and cancer-attacking agent.

That is it for this blog, in my next writing will look at pepper and it benefits to our health. Keep in mind that our body is the house to our Mind. When the body is healthy, the Mind will be healthy as well.

12 Reasons Why Eating Garlic Helps To Develop a Powerful Mind

Introduction:
Today I want to talk about garlic and the health benefits that accrue from its consistent use. You are all conversant with the saying: “An apple a day keeps the doctor a way”. Borrowing from that I want to state: “A clove a day to keep the doctor away”

I will blog about garlic and blood lipids, the immune system and some noted side effects.

1. BLOOD LIPIDS
     • Reduces Cells Production Of Fat
     • Increases The Breakdown Of Fats
     • Lowers LDL Cholesterol
     • Raises HDL Cholesterol
     • Inhibits Platelet Aggregation
     • Lowers Blood Pressure
     • Prevents Formation Of Clots In Bloodstream
     • Lowers blood sugar levels by raising insulin levels

2. THE IMMUNE SYSTEM
Garlic stimulates specific white blood cells which cause the following benefits:

     • carbon particles cleared from bloodstream
     • increased production of antibodies
     • cancer cells destroyed
     • tumor cells destroyed

Note: Garlic is best eaten raw. Cooking can destroy some of the “allicin” compound which is responsible for the powerful healing effects of garlic.

3. SIDE EFFECTS

     • Garlic breath.
     • Allergies
        i. skin rash,
        ii. temperature
        iii. headaches
    • disrupt anti-coagulants, so always avoid it before surgery
